The City of Quesnel Age Friendly Project required our company to:
• Complete background research
• Engage stakeholders
• Carry out a primary data collection strategy
• Develop an Action Plan for approval by City Council
City of Richmond Age Friendly Assessment and Action Plan

We worked with the City of Richmond to help develop an Age Friendly Assessment and Action Plan. Our process involves extensive background research as well as community consultation and data collection. We worked with a Steering Committee (City Staff, Stakeholders, Older Adult Representatives) and consulted widely with older adults and stakeholders to (1) identify age-friendly features in Richmond and (2) determine next steps toward becoming an increasingly age-friendly community, based on the eight topic areas identified by WHO. Our approach included desk research, survey development, community mapping, interviews, meeting and focus group organization and facilitation, translation and interpretation, data analysis, preparation of drafts and a final Plan.
